\"Julie<\/a>As a year’s end approaches, I\u00a0often become somewhat nostalgic and contemplative.\u00a0 As I was relaxing in one of these reveries, some of “The CLASSIC Flintstones” episodes I’ve seen from time to time flashed into My memories.\u00a0 you know you all love the Flintstones animated series so don’t try to deny it.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In one show, Fred was the umpire for a Little League game.\u00a0 At the end of the contest, Fred made a call that angered many of the fathers of the Bedrock Giants team members.\u00a0 They responded by booing loudly, throwing objects at Fred, and threatening him.<\/div>\n
The team members begged Mr. Flintstone to stand his ground and not give in to their dads’ rudeness and tactics.<\/div>\n
As little prehistoric Arnold the kid put it, “… If you give into them now, they’ll think they can get anything in life by bullying people.\u00a0 That’s no way to raise a father.”<\/div>\n

Flash forward to O\/our time.\u00a0 How often are there news stories about supposed-to-be-grownup adults involved with children’s sports or other activities who act far more childishly than any of the kids have ever done?<\/div>\n

In another episode, Fred and Barney have a sweepstakes ticket they want to hide.\u00a0\u00a0Barney points out that the previous year Wilma found their ticket and went out and bought lots of things on credit.<\/div>\n
When Fred remembers how bad that was, he agrees they should keep the ticket a secret. \u00a0 By the end of this cartoon, they all drive off all uttering the same financial battle cry “CHARGE!!! IT.”<\/div>\n

Now to O\/our world.\u00a0 Many individuals, families, businesses, charities and \u00a0government entities have gotten into deeper! deepening! economic do-do by giving in to their desire to HAVE-IT-ALL-NOW-ASAP-NO-MATTER-WHAT-THE-ULTIMATE-COST.<\/div>\n
Can you hear all too many of them screaming out “CHARGE!!! IT”?<\/div>\n

*\u00a0 Who knew one of My favorite cavemen was also a seer?\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n

* Now for something simply spellbinding.\u00a0 There was one femdom Flintstones episode where Wilma and Betty beguilingly bewitched their dreamily dozing husbands using sleep teaching.<\/div>\n
They successfully persuaded their men to demand and get pay raises, not play poker and take their better halves to a concert, as well as wipe their feet before walking through the door.
