THE BAD BREAK UP STRIKES BACK AGAIN
\n\"Asian<\/a>Greetings:<\/p>\n

In a classic “Seinfeld” episode –\u00a0 Elaine Benes is newly dating Alan Mercer–a man whose dating relationships all end very badly for him.<\/p>\n

Below is an excerpt from this show about Alan’s bad break ups:

\nELAINE: (Leans in close) Between you and me, what happened there with the stabbing?<\/p>\n

ALAN: Just.. one of those things, you know.<\/p>\n

ELAINE: What? Was she just so crazy in love with you that she just couldn’t take it anymore? Or..?<\/p>\n

ALAN: I don’t know. Could be.<\/p>\n

(A woman, Carol, passes. She stops infront of Elaine and Alan’s table)<\/p>\n

CAROL: Alan?!<\/p>\n

ALAN: Carol?<\/p>\n

(Carol grabs his hot coffee, and throws it in his face, then storms off. Alan screams from the pain)<\/p>\n

ELAINE: (Gets up, pointing after Carol) Was that the one?! Was that the one who stabbed you?!<\/p>\n

ALAN: (Between screams) No, that was a different girl.<\/p>\n

(Elaine looks confused. Scene ends)<\/p>\n

[Setting: Coffee shop]<\/p>\n

JERRY: There was another crazed ex-girlfriend?<\/p>\n

ELAINE: Right, so, I called my friend, you know – the one who set us up – I found out, he’s a bad-breaker-upper.<\/p>\n

JERRY: Mmm.. Bad how?<\/p>\n

ELAINE: (Fast) Well, you know when you break up, how you say things you don’t mean? Well, he says the mean things you don’t mean, but he means them.<\/p>\n

JERRY: (Nods) I follow. So what are you gonna do?<\/p>\n

ELAINE: Dump him. I can’t be with someone who doesn’t break up nicely. I mean, to me, that’s one of the most important parts of a relationship.<\/p>\n
