Montelone\u2019s West, in the San Fernando Valley, was the first stop…I had known the owner for many years, so he had agreed to the \u201csingle\u201d performances. Besides, I knew I could invite a pretty female from the audience, up on stage to help with certain \u201cbits\u201d that required a female to \u201cplay off of\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I arrived for the show Friday night, it was \u201cSold Out\u201d …Always great for both the show, and the club…I was taking a look over the audience, seeing possible \u201csubjects\u201d for the show when I was \u201cstopped dead in my tracks\u201d…Sitting alone in a booth was a \u201cknock out, drop dead gorgeous\u201d blonde in a black low-cut evening dress…She caught my stare, and smiled a \u201cknowing smile\u201d, as others were also sneaking glances at her from all over the room…She knew the effect she had on both men and women…Men couldn\u2019t keep their eyes off…and women were throwing seething looks of jealousy, and envy. I smiled back, and nodded to her giving an \u00a0acknowledgement. I found myself wishing I had time introduce myself and chat, but show time was fast approaching. I did however \u201chave a plan\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

I hit the stage to a nice round of applause. And after quickly explaining why I was doing a \u201csolo\u201d show, still got a complete stage full of volunteers, ranging in age from a couple of college kids to a 70 year old grandmother, a real nice mix. I only had to send back one person after the induction, and act<\/span><\/span>ually brought up three people who had gone under in the audience. So I had a great group of 10 deeply hypnotized people to work with. Now for my plan, I thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the third show bit, \u201cHot Pants\u201d which Genie normally does, and involves the men on stage getting \u201chot buns\u201d when she says the word \u201csexy outfit\u201d, I looked directly at the booth and said, \u201cI wonder if I might borrow you on stage for a moment?…I need a beautiful woman\u2019s presence to make this next skit work. After straightening up the stage a little for the following night\u2019s performance, I caught a waiter to order drinks for us, and joined her in the booth. The first 20 minutes, we had no time to chat.
